The fishing in Lake Vättern is still amazingly good! Nearly everyday for the last month, reports of landlocked salmon weighting over the magical 10 kg and so far the biggest one this winter was taken last week, weighting over 15 kg! This weekend, our guide Petter Larsson and his clients Mr Jan Mandell & Co , stayed in the Granvik camp. The fishing was still very good with lots of fish. Biggest char weighted 4,5 kg and biggest Salmon weighted 6,3 kg: - Whenever we saw baitfish on the sonar, we had a strike, says our guide Petter. Also Lake Vänern has been good with lots of nice salmon and trout, but for the moment Lake Vättern is in a league of it´s own. / Camp Staff
